E²phest²us ...
... is a scientific project funded by the European Commission. The project started in January 2010 and will last 36 months. As a collaborative project it is part of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission.
The overall goal of this collaborative project is to design and realize innovative components for solar radiation concentrating systems able to efficiently generate at the same time electricity and heat power and to reliably work at high temperatures (800-1000° C).

Objectives
E²PHEST²US project aims to design and realize innovative and scalable components for solar concentrating systems that generate both electricity and heat and work efficiently at high temperatures (800-1000°C).
Structure
E²PHEST²US project is structured in five different RTD Work Packages (WPs), one Workpackage devoted to management and one dedicated to dissemination activity . Each WP implies a WP Leader, who will coordinate one specific R&D activity of the consortium.
